Aerial Hoop

Aerial hoop (also referred to as Lyra) is an aerial art/fitness class using a hoop apparatus suspended from the ceiling for a stunning blend of poses, acrobatics, and aerial dance. 

HOOP-INTRO / BEGINNER

This class is a 60 minute aerial hoop (also referred to as lyra) fitness class, using a hoop suspended from the ceiling to create a beautiful and challenging aerial artform.

This INTRO/ BEGINNER level and CONDITIONING class is perfect for students who are learning and perfecting basic skills. Conditioning exercises will be the focus to build strength, stamina and proper form.

All levels of experience are welcome in this class – from those who are just starting out to those who are working on increasing their stamina and strength and perfecting their technique.

HOOP-BEGINNER/ INTERMEDIATE

This class is a 60 minute aerial hoop (also referred to as lyra) fitness class, using a hoop suspended from the ceiling to create a beautiful and challenging aerial artform.

This BEGINNER/ INTERMEDIATE level class is perfect for students who are working on perfecting their fundamental and base skills. This class focuses on conditioning and strength training, poses, inversions, combinations and smooth transitions.

The curriculum will be taught in multiple levels with modifications provided, as needed. Students will be grouped by experience and skill level.

All levels of experience are welcome in this class – from those who are just starting out to those who want to reinforce and perfect their technique.

Intro students are welcome in this class. However, when possible, it is recommended that first-time students attend an Intro/ Beginner Level 1 class first. This will familiarize the student with the basics of the apparatus prior to being placed in a multiple-level situation.

HOOP-MIXED LEVEL

This class is a 60 minute aerial hoop (also referred to as lyra) fitness class, using a hoop suspended from the ceiling to create a beautiful and challenging aerial artform.

This BEGINNER- ADVANCED level class will work for any skill level. The curriculum will be taught in multiple levels with modifications provided, as needed. Students will be grouped by experience and skill level.

All levels of experience are welcome in this class though it is not recommended for a first time student.When possible, it is recommended that first-time students attend an Intro/ Beginner class first. This will familiarize the student with the basics of the apparatus prior to being placed in a multiple-level situation.
