Barre fitness is a hybrid workout class - combining ballet-inspired moves with elements of Pilates, dance, yoga and strength training. Most classes incorporate a ballet barre and use classic dance moves such as plies, alongside static stretches. Barre also focuses on high reps of small range movements.
A multi-level class geared to challenge bodies of any age, gender, or fitness background. Barre Sculpt focuses on sculpting and toning muscles using non-impact isometric movement and concepts from Pilates, Ballet and Resistance Training. Barre Sculpt will target the entire lower body, arms and core to enhance strength and tone throughout the entire body. This 60 minute workout uses resistance bands, free weights and a variety of isometric movements and small range exercises on the Barre and Mat to sculpt and tone the entire body. This total body workout serves to strengthen, lengthen, and tone the body from top to bottom resulting in a sculpted look without added bulk. The exercises can be modified for beginners, prenatal clients or client with minor injuries. All levels welcomed.
This is is an amped up version of Barre Sculpt that uses similar non-impact movements to tone and sculpt the lower body but now with larger range of motion and continuous repetitions to really amp up your cardio workout! This 60 minute workout uses resistance bands and a variety of full range movements on the Barre to sculpt the entire body and target the lower body with an emphasis on legs, glutes, and core.Tone, sculpt, shape, and burn!
