Flexibility & Stretch

Flexibility is the range of motion in a joint or group of joints or the ability to move joints effectively through a complete range of motion. Flexibility training includes stretching exercises to lengthen the muscles and increase range of motion. Join us for a flexibility class to stretch and elongate muscles while increasing your range of motion. These classes are a perfect compliment to any of our pole, aerial, or fitness/dance classes.



This 60 minute class will include mat stretches using blocks and bands. We will flow through the stretches much like a ballet dancer would. Some stretches will be held for up to a minute. Modifications and adjustments to positions will be provided for optimal benefit. This is a full body stretch class using proven dancer's flexibility techniques.


Ballet Barre & Flexibility will use the ballet barre for a ballet style warm up with emphasis on extension, toe point, lines, and graceful arm movements to enhance strength, hip flexibility and to create beautifully sculpted "dancers legs".

 The second half of class will focus on flexibility using dancer's techniques to increase range of motion and extension while enhancing grace, fluidity and flexibility.
